GOD IS AT WORK
Lives Transformed by the Gospel
God is faithfully at work through the students, alumni, and programs of Central Africa Baptist University. Through theological education, discipleship, and practical preparation for ministry, He is raising up men and women whose lives bear witness to the transforming power of the Gospel. That work extends far beyond the classroom—into churches, communities, and families throughout Africa and beyond.
The stories below offer glimpses of His faithfulness. Partner Perspectives reflect the voices of those who know CABU well—those who understand the significance of equipping pastors and leaders and the vital role North American believers have in advancing this work. Alumni Spotlights bring that training to life through the stories of graduates faithfully serving Christ and strengthening His Church. Together, these accounts are more than stories of achievement; they are testimonies to God’s grace and the lasting impact of lives shaped for faithful service.
Partner Reflections
I have been greatly blessed by encountering and getting to know better the ministry of Central Africa Baptist University. The rare combination of a well-thought-out curriculum, an emphasis on discipleship, and church planting made primary, makes it a beacon for Central Africa, and a conduit for light to the entire continent. Each time I am there I come away more grateful and thankful for what God is doing there and praying that He continues to bless it in a remarkable way.
Central Africa Baptist University is a vibrant Christian academic community in the heart of Africa. I've had the privilege of lecturing there, meeting with administrators, faculty, local pastors and students and have been greatly encouraged by the Lord's work among them.
I have been to CABU many times to learn, speak, and interact with students and faculty alike. Every visit increases my confidence in the university and the people who work there. It gets my highest recommendation.
On a continent where the greatest challenge in fulfilling the Great Commission is the theological maturation of her Church, Central Africa Baptist University stands as a beacon of light that is being used by God to raise up faithful men and women who are being deployed in local churches across the continent equipped with the training necessary to refute error and to proclaim the good news of Jesus.
I have had the privilege of knowing, serving, and partnering with CABU since 2017, meeting the men who are laboring in this part of the Lord’s vineyard.
